The programme for education
Erasmus+ is the EU’s programme for education, training, youth, and sport in Europe. Our school is part of this programme since 2021. The 2021 – 2027 programme places a strong focus on social inclusion, the green and digital transitions, and promoting young people’s participation in democratic life. It supports priorities and activities set out in the European Education Area, Digital Education Action Plan and the European Skills Agenda. The main objectives of the Arnold Gymnasium are internal differentiation regarding learners’ groups, CLIL, digitalisation and intercultural competences. Our school benefits from this project both for teachers and students. In the past two years about 20 teachers participated in various teacher trainings and gained a deeper insight in schools and school systems in Spain and Norway during job shadowings.

Istitutio Comprensivo “Rita-Levi-Montalcini”, Italy
Italian middle school. New exchange programme in 2024. A group of 10 Italian students visited our school in April for the first time. The visit was a great success and motivated our lower grade students to use English as a communication language. We are planning to enlarge the exchange, and thus establish a new school partnership with Italy.
