Our school has got a lot of great things to offer like events, mandatory courses, extracurricular activities and  it supports social projects too.

Events

The Arnold-Gymnasium organizes all kinds of events like theater shows and concerts. The Christmas bazaar takes place every year in December, in summer there is our school festival and there are more charities, like a running event in summer. It takes place every two years in the last school week and students, parents and sportsmen from our region participate in it.

At the bazaar students and parents can have a stand and sell decorations, food and flea market articles. Every seller has to donate some money.

All the collected money from the winter bazaar and the summer run is donated to our partner school, the Pallotti Secondary School in Tansania.

Mandatory courses

During the time at the AG every student has to choose different classes they want to to attend. In the early years all students learn English as a first foreign language and then either start French or Latin too. Later on, students have the choice between the economic and the science sectors which influences their timetable.

There is also the possiblity to attend history and geography lessons in English starting in year 9.

On their way to the A-Levels students have to select from a variety of seminars and classes to prepare them for their working life or university.

Extracurricular activities

The school offers a wide choice of voluntary courses the students can choose according to their interests. Some examples are the school choir, the school's TV channel or our school's newspaper. The Arnold-Gymnasium also has got school parademics to help students when injured or sick.
